Anne is an accomplished composer and musician whose wealth of material produces a youthful, fresh quality. Her varied repertoire of contemporary jazz has been recognized on "Shadow of My Heart," her debut CD, which has made it into Billboard’s Top 10. The "Shadow of My Heart" project is a study of what can happen when you have inspiration, vision, excitement and talent. Expertly produced by Marco Dydo and Derek Nakamoto, the players featured on the album feature Patrice Rushen on piano, Abraham Laboriel and Ken Wild on bass with Eric Marienthal and Mike Acosta featured on sax. Lead and background vocals impressively delivered by Billy Griffin and Sandy Simmons. Drums and drum programming was handled by Denny Fongheiser and Carlos Vega, while Luis Conti performed on hand percussion.
